When the Lord appears what will he look like? Will He be tall, short, fat skinny, black, white. Do you not know? It is simple. He will be all. He will be a tall, fat, black man. He will be a short, skinny white man. He will be a she.
When will he arrive? Before the tribulation? During the tribulation? Afterwards? Do you not know? It is simple. He will arrive at all times. Before the calamity, during the crisis, after the destruction. Is this nonsense to you? How much more nonsense is this than believing that He will appear exactly the way the Church leadership teaches it? Do I dare put my individual theory up against that of the Church fathers? I can only answer that with another question. Did the Jewish church fathers of the 1st century and their fathers before them espouse certain teachings of what the Messiah would look like and of when He would come? Where they right?
Expect the unexpected! That is the key to our Lord’s thief in the night message.
