The Ever Presence
And then I get such a contrary feeling
A hopelessness, a loss of untold depth
Do all those who seek out God experience this?
Every turn can bring about a reversal of favor
And then frustration, uncertainty, pain.
But then I see in the eye of my mind
that the only smattering of reality within this
mirage of bliss and frustration, is the
Virtue that I have been given.
To see the creation as it should be and God?s
children laughing and enjoying the Ever Presence.
Do you not see?
Every one of us lives one moment at a time
We remember the past and anticipate the future
but we only actually experience the Ever Present.
He is with us all the time.
Now what you do with your time is your prerogative
but you only have time in the present.
Now to be present is to live
If you do not yet understand this, you will.
There will be someone close to you die and then
you will know what it means for someone to not be Ever Present.
But you are, and He is, and for now you have a connection to the
Forever Alive, Forever Present, the Ever Presence.
Now child you must learn that Virtue leads to life and the Ever
Presence and Vices lead away to Death, The Ever Gone.
