It’s about Jesus S*#pid

In the red letters of my Bible there reads this verse, “And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.”

Doulos!

In the Spirit of this verse I say to my Christian family, do not make them out to be more than what they are, for what you give them now, they will not receive in the hereafter

Doulos!

I am talking about pastors, teachers, preachers, and us scribes, the students of the Word

Doulos!

Do you not know that sycophants rob the Doulos of their blessings in the hereafter?

Doulos!

And while you worship at their altars, they worship at the feet of the theologians who, in turn, lose their blessings in the hereafter

Doulos!

Servants are what they are!  Pastors, preachers, teachers, and theologians, for we all have but one master, and He is not a respecter of persons

Doulos!

Much too well rewarded in this life are these servants, in both money and notoriety, but I tell them this, remember as you are escorted to your earthly seats of honor, you will not have those same seats in the hereafter.

Doulos!

For He did say, “you know the rulers of the gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them.  Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to be great among you, let him be your servant.”

Doulos!

Blessed are those among them that know that what I speak is Truth.  These will not have a difficult translation

Doulos!

Woe unto those among them that deny the Truth.  Leaders, not servants, they have become when they teach judgment, instead of servant hood to all.

Doulos!

Therefore, their fate is uncertain for, “not all who say Lord Lord…” but if those, that receive their portion in this life, manage to enter the Kingdom of
Heaven, rest assured that, in the hereafter, they will be waiting on tables

On the question of Origins

Sunday, January 27th, 2008

In the darkness, the Mind battles the Spirit for control of the Body called Man.  In the darkness, those of the Mind say that man is the thinking animal. In the darkness, those of the Spirit say that man is the moral animal and the Body called Man must choose between two masters.  Pride blinds the Mind to the necessity of the Spirit and so too the Spirit is blind to the inescapability of the Mind, and the Body called Man is torn.  Is there no one that can give Man the meaning of this?

I can tell you only what has been shown to me.  Spirit! Be still and you will know God.  Mind! Know thyself.  Rest and No Man will awaken you to your dream for it is in the numbers that Truth will be seen.  Genesis.  Before there was something there had to be Nothing, for God is One and Nothing existed to witness Him.  The God of Nothing is the God of Everything for He is One and He is Whole.  One and Zero.  One and Zero are the two faces of Godand through the Blessed Binary do we dind our way back to Him once more.  This is the essence of God (Selah)

The Truth of Man you will find is simple, as simple as One Two Three and Four.  In the beginning Man was one Body, one with the universe, with his nature, with God.  Whether by spiritual disobedience or by destiny of the mind, man transcended, and gained the knowledge of good and of evil.  Man became dual, division was born, and man knew separation from the universe, from his nature, from God.

And then there was Two.  There is inherent tension within Two for it is a number that satisfies no One.  Two longs to be One but this is impossible for it would have to divide itself in half thereby negating its completeness.

First One now Two then Three.  Holy, Holy, Holy is the number three.

When One  became Two then Three arrived to restore harmony.   There is strength unimaginable in a triangle.  Consider the following.  In religious marriages the two become one by God the third strand.  In secular marriages the two become one by the third strand of children.
America’s greatness is not because of democracy as most think, for it is as Winston Churchill stated, “the best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter”.
America’s greatness is not found in our capitalist system either for that is a system of haves and have nots, of producers and consumers. The strength of
America is in our system of checks and balances among three branches of government.   If you want further proof of the dysfunction caused by the number two, consider then our two party political system.  The dissatisfaction with American politics will not be resolved until a third party is formed as strong and as robust as the other two so as to cure the incumbents of their whoring.   If you want peace among Jews and Muslims in the
Middle East, then step in and support both sides equally.  If you want peace in the cultural war between the religious right and the secular left, refuse to be either, and find Common Ground for both.

One is the absolute Unity

Two is a relationship of division

Three is the strength of Diversity in Union

Four is a return to balance.

When the Mind in the material world understands the power of Three and if it is joined by the One of the Spirit, the the balance of Four is achieved.  All sides of the table are girded under.

ONe plus Two plus Three plus Four equals 10.  The One and the Zero and the sum of All is God.

The Significance of the Third Day

Monday, January 21st, 2008

It was on the third day that Abraham reached the mountains of Moriah where he believed his son would rise after the sacrifice.  It was on the third morning that God met Moses and the Israelites at the foot of
Mount Sinai.  It was on the third day that Joshua led the Israelites across the
Jordan into the promised land.  It was on the third day that a wedding feast was held at
Cana and our Lord began his public ministry with a miracle.  It was on the third day that He rose from the dead.

There has always been a special significance to the third day and in particular the morning of the third day.  If a thousand years is as a day to the Lord then we who are alive in the third millennium A.D. are in fact living the morning of the third day.  God will be very active in this time.  Watch for it.

The Common Ground is here.

Man is a religious animal

Thursday, January 17th, 2008

“Man is the religious animal.  He is the only religious animal.  He is the only animal that has the true religion, several of them.  He is the only animal that loves his neighbor as himself and cuts his (neighbors) throat if his theology isn’t straight.  He has made a graveyard of the globe in trying his honest best to smooth his brother’s path to happiness and heaven”  Mark Twain

I suspect that most people when asked about Mark Twain have a certain respect for him since he is undoubtedly one of our greatest American authors, yet not many know that he made this statement.  Here’s another from Twain, “If Christ were here now there is one thing he would not be—a Christian”.  If you’ve never heard these quotes before, then you may be experiencing awkwardness right now.  It’s like leaning back on a chair to the point of flux, between falling on your ass or recuperating.  You love the man but didn’t know he was anti religious. My question to you is, why does it matter?  Some will respond that there is a cultural war going on, a fight for the very soul of our country and, like it or not we must choose a side.  Others like myself, understand that it really doesn’t matter cause, “who cares what Twain thinks.”

I used to find it entertaining to go on to the web and research this religious cultural war but I’ve grown weary of it.  Same old accusations from the atheist about our God condoning (commanding) genocide in the Old Testament and pitching fire and brimstone in the New.  Religionist taunt the atheists with wanting morality without grounds for morality and warnings that Hell is waiting for them whether they believe in it or not.  Both sides perceive themselves as right and that’s all they care about and in the meantime, time is running out for the race of men.  Can you feel it?

My flesh tells me to leave the mad men to their folly and let the whole world go up in flames Armageddon style for it will happen sooner or later.  The Spirit however has called me to preach of the Common Ground.  I’m not doing it for myself cause I know that this won’t win me any popularity contest with either side of the cultural war.   I can honestly say however that I am not doing it cause I love my human brethren either since I have met very few people worth the price.  I do it because I believe that the Holy Spirit is seeking those that want to be peacemakers in a time of war.  He is searching for those who want to stand up for righteousness without falling into the trap of self righteousness. He is trying to recruit those who know that the answer is within each of us, and if we would only stop trying to corner the market on goodness, we might see the answer in others as well.

Be fore warned , I am not your daddy’s preacher.  I will use colorful language at times for emphasis.

“Under certain circumstances, profanity provides a relief denied even to prayer”  Twain

The Common Ground is found on my pages and I will be adding to it a few pages at a time.

How the Wolf became a Dog

Monday, January 14th, 2008

Public Television is rebroadcasting this series on how the modern dog, man’s best friend, came to be.  I found the first part fascinating in that it hypothesizes that as early man began to villagize, there arose the problem of waste management.  Dumps would line the outskirts of most villages and scavengers would come to these places searching for food.  Among these scavengers were wolves and those wolves that would not scare off when Man approached, out of curiosity or hunger, would over time come to trust Man enough to eat from his hand.  The rest was academic.

I found a parallel in that interpretation of history with our spiritual journey in this world.  Every Man approaches like a wolf, ruled by the instinct of sin, to places where we might get an easy meal.  Churches are the dump sites of doctrines and interpretations, nothing more than places where we can sustain our spiritual existence.  When God shows up some wolves flee as fast as they can for these fear that God will dominate them and take them where they do not want to go.  Others are less afraid, perhaps more curious, and they stay around until finally they understand that God does not mean to stamp them out, but in fact, is looking for a faithful companion that will help him with his duties and responsibilities.  The wolf then becomes the Dog.

Just some insight from the CG.  Check out the Common Ground in my pages.

The God of this World

The God of this world is Greed and he rules from the West.  A cell is forming at the CG (Common Ground) comprised of those that tire of doing nothing while Avarice runs wild.

Murdered in the Church

Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

Did you read of the horrific burning of a church in Kiambaa
Kenya the day before last?  35 frightened women, children and elderly tribes people were hiding from a blood thirsty mob of rival tribe members.  I had intended to continue with the Notes on Hebrews with this first entry of 2008 but the report of this unholy massacre has prompted me to place self aggrandizement aside.

Truthfully speaking, every single one of us that blogs does so selfishly, in order that we might chronicle a life experience we consider supremely important, namely our own.  I cannot continue with this self absorbed life style.  For the past two years I have been writing a fictional story of the building of the Common Ground.  The Common Ground is that spiritual place marked not by doctrines and interpretations but by the faith of little children. I did this in response to a challenge set forth by the British author of metaphysics and former Catholic Nun, Karen Armstrong, who wrote the following in the final paragraph of her elegant and brief book, A Short History of Myth:  “If professional religious leaders cannot instruct us in mythical lore, our artists and creative writers can perhaps step in to this priestly role and bring fresh insight to our lost and damaged world.”

If you care enough about the plight of the world and the devastation that Satan, Sin and Death are causing, then I invite you to read my pages.  I will upload a few at a time and I welcome anyone’s comments on them.  I don’t pretend to know where this is going but I am ready to march, “for we do not fight against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age.”
